March Review

Did anyone else feel like March dragged on or was it just me?

For me, March seemed to go on longer than any month I have ever experienced in my working career.

I’m not sure if it was me waiting on golf courses to open or if it was due to the fact, I was expecting my first day off in a year – But it dragged!

As we went into March we were once again looking at substantial growth, more importantly, we were going into the Month with all our February clients.

One thing I have always maintained is that retention is equally if not more important than new business.

I understand that this isn’t always going to be the case,  in construction we must accept there are lots of sectors. This means some sectors will be busier than others and at different times!  We understand that some of our clients need a break to look at alternative campaigns when this happens we are here to support them.

If we have spoken before then you will have heard me say a few times that our service should be used like a tap.  You should have the right to turn it on and off, that’s why when clients explain that they need to reassess the campaign and change their target audience we sit with them and help build a new brief that will match their needs.

That was very much so the case for March!

Some of our clients have been with us since last August and whilst they have had fantastic results and built a solid pipeline, they also needed to look at how they grow in other areas and maintain the momentum.

New Recruits

In March we welcomed some new faces to the company!

Emilee and Misha joined the Excel family and we can’t wait to see them get stuck in. I am sure that they will be fantastic additions to the team!

Looking Ahead!

As we move into April, I am delighted to announce that on the 28th we will be recording our very first podcast!

This is something that has been pushed back multiple times and changed due to a number of factors but none more so than covid restrictions.  I will be joined by Chloe Mulvey and David Stewart from Rubberseal and we will get the chance to find out more information about their new and exciting product Liquiflex Pro.

We also have some exciting announcements coming in April which include our BIGGEST incentive so far and some very exciting company days out!!!
