Hello June!!

June review

It’s hard to believe that we are already 6 months into 2022, and it feels like each month is going quicker and quicker. The lighter nights are in, BBQs are in full swing, and most of the UK has sunburn that resembles a drumstick.

June, like every other month was an incredibly busy one here at Excel. The month was however shorter than normal as the UK celebrated the Queens platinum jubilee together, millions of people around the world came together to celebrate this historic moment which included street parties and small festivals – did you do anything to celebrate?

Meanwhile back at Excel we are proud to say that we have had our busiest 6 months on record and with that our most successful 6 months on record for revenue!

I have never shied away from hard the start of this year was, not only did our New Business team generate a record number of new business sales but we have also maintained an average renewal rate of 96% since the turn of the year, this is an incredible achievement and the whole team deserve all the credit they receive for this.

With retention and new business comes a huge push for not just fresh faces but also individuals who want to join the Excel family and better their career in new ways, whilst Excel are still the new kids on the block in some ways, we have made more noise and gained more traction than other companies in our industry.

This means we have joined up with four recruitment companies that specialise is in what we do and have the same vision as Excel,

June was also a month for further celebration in the Excel office!

I am also honoured to say that I have been shortlisted for two more awards this year!

Entrepreneur of the year at the MBCC Awards and I will also be heading back to London in November for the Great British Entrepreneur awards for start-up Entrepreneur of the year!

This means that since Excel established itself in January 2020, the business has been shortlisted nominated for an incredible seven awards!!!

Not bad for less than 3 years.
